The Board of Supervisors approved a plan Tuesday to find housing for 50 of the most vulnerable homeless people on downtown’s skid row.
The proposal, approved unanimously, aims to find homes for the selected homeless within 100 days and to provide them with readily accessible support services, such as mental health and substance abuse counselors.
Supervisors must approve the cost and other contract terms before the program becomes effective.
