29 bodies found at landslide site
Workers recovered 29 bodies after digging through rubble to reach the wreckage of a bus that had been buried in a landslide near Lichuan city for three days, a state news agency said.
There was no official word on the cause of the accident. The landslide struck near a tunnel construction site in a region hit by seismic shocks blamed on rising water behind the massive Three Gorges Dam, about 125 miles away. Officials had already confirmed the death of one worker on the tunnel being blasted above the highway in mountainous central China.
