Keeping an eye from a distance

I read the article about monitoring devices [“Aging Under a High-Tech Eye,” Oct. 11] nodding my head in agreement. My husband’s aunt is almost 101 years old and is still living on her own. The video camera (and service) my husband put in gives us both great peace of mind. We know all is well when we see her sitting in her chair or up in the kitchen. We even got to see how she was using the oven for heat and were able to give her alternative instructions.
