Accents are green with innovation

With an eye on green design, Cisco Home uses reclaimed wood -- Douglas fir or teak -- for its adjustable Katso stool, bottom left, $650, and the Tilo, right, in three sizes from $495. Both sport tractor-style seats made from reclaimed wood on a steel base. The Los Angeles manufacturer employed local glassblowers to create blue pendant lamps modeled after vintage wine jugs and to reduce fuel and shipping costs.
