Coming together over e-mail

Share

Thank you for the April 16 column about the misleading tactic used by Reunion.com to entice new members. (“Too much contact at this Reunion,” Consumer Confidential.)

Coincidentally, I received an e-mail just that morning that a former colleague and friend was looking for me. Confused by the Reunion.com e-mail prompts, I immediately sent her an e-mail. Then I read the newspaper over breakfast. It was like an instant replay.

It’s annoying to be misled like this, though it did have the positive benefit of prompting me to connect with my friend on my own.
