Sony to buy Gracenote

Sony Corp.’s U.S. unit agreed to buy Gracenote Inc., a maker of music infrastructure products for consumer electronics, for at least $260 million to improve its digital content and services.
Emeryville, Calif.-based Gracenote’s top management will stay at the company, which will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, Sony said.
