Court denies sect mothers’ request

A court has rejected an effort by the mothers of a polygamist sect in western Texas to keep their children with them.
The state 3rd Court of Appeals denied the request by dozens of mothers with the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They wanted to stop an order allowing the children to be sent to foster facilities.
