Two Italian aid workers kidnapped in Somalia have been released, Italy’s foreign minister said.

Franco Frattini told Parliament that Iolanda Occhipinti and Giuliano Paganini were in good condition.

Gunmen seized the Italians along with a Somali colleague in an attack May 21. The Foreign Ministry said it wasn’t known whether the Somali had been freed or whether any ransom had been paid.
