2 soldiers die in Chechnya blast

Two Russian military officers were killed when explosives hit their armored vehicle near the village of Agishty in the restive Chechnya region, Interfax news agency reported.
Russian security officials have said they expect a rise in rebel attacks after Moscow launched a military incursion into Georgia, a former Soviet republic bordering Chechnya, to crush its attempt to retake the breakaway region of South Ossetia.
