The National Weather Service reported roads closed in Iroquois County and the city of Benton because of flooding caused by heavy rains and issued a flood warning for Champaign and Vermilion counties.
At Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, about 900 flights were canceled, officials said. The city’s Midway Airport reported more than 100 flight cancellations.
