Iraqi reform: An article in Sunday’s Section A about a new Iraqi law allowing some former members of Saddam Hussein’s Baath Party to regain government jobs stated that all those in the party’s top four echelons would still be barred from employment. In fact, the law would forcibly retire those in the first three tiers as well as fourth-level Baathists who held special positions such as director general or higher. But others in the fourth echelon would be permitted to return to work.
