Bending law again
Re “Bush acts to lift curbs on Navy sonar use,” Jan. 17
President Bush says the Navy’s use of marine sonar is “in the paramount interest of the United States.” However, I believe that the rule of law is of paramount interest in protecting the United States, and the president, by exempting the Navy from this law, is once again showing his administration’s true colors: abide by the laws only when convenient.
