Stage honor: David Emmes and Martin Benson, artistic directors of South Coast Repertory, will receive the 2007-08 Margo Jones Medal from Ohio State University in recognition of their “understanding and affirmation of the craft of playwriting.” It will be presented to them May 1 as the Costa Mesa venue kicks off its Pacific Playwrights Festival.
