Perhaps it was a wee bit too much Wie

Don’t you think it’s time to stop headlining every LPGA story with the standing of Michelle Wie? “Wie Misses Cut” or “Wie 10 shots behind leaders” or “Wie finishes last.”

She is no longer a 13-year-old prodigy who could hit the ball a long way for a woman. Thanks to some terrible parenting and greedy management, she’s quite likely washed up while still in her teens. Do you honestly think people are still interested in her failures?

I, for one, hope I never see another headline with her name in it unless it’s about her winning an event.
