Maguire Properties Inc., the biggest owner of Class A office buildings in downtown Los Angeles, will delay its annual shareholder meeting as it continues weighing a possible sale.

The meeting, originally set for June, will be held no earlier than Aug. 1, Maguire said.

Chief Executive Robert Maguire is bidding for the company with a group that includes Colony Capital and the Qatar Investment Authority.
