Don’t forget Tibet

Share

Shame to Major League Baseball and the U.S. Olympic Committee.

Tibet has been subject to violent force by the invading nation of China, yet MLB’s response is “Play ball!” while the USOC says, “The athletes shouldn’t be made to suffer.”

Sports are merely a form of diversion and entertainment. People, and basic human rights, should take precedence over trying to recruit new fans to “the Great American Game” or stroking our nation’s collective ego by participating in the Olympics.

Too bad Tibet doesn’t sit over major oil fields. Then we might be concerned, right?
