Record vs. Mystics (2007) -- 1-1.

Update -- The Sparks are coming off an 82-78 double-overtime loss at Indiana after Fever post player Ebony Hoffman, a graduate of Harbor City Narbonne High and USC, banked in a shot with 4.2 seconds remaining. Sparks rookie Candace Parker became the first player in league history to total at least five in each of the major statistical categories: 16 points, 16 rebounds, six blocks, five assists and five steals. Shortly before the start of the season, the Sparks traded Taj McWilliams-Franklin to the Mystics for another forward, DeLisha Milton-Jones. The deal, so far, appears to be paying off for both teams. McWilliams-Franklin is averaging 15 points and 9.3 rebounds, Milton-Jones is averaging 12 points and 8.3 rebounds. Mystics’ guard Alana Beard bumped up her scoring average to a team-high 20.3 points Tuesday night after totaling 25 in an 80-74 victory over visiting Connecticut.
