Teenager pleads guilty in 4 deaths

A white teenager pleaded guilty in a shooting spree that killed four blacks in South Africa, including a 3-month-old girl on her mother’s back.
South African media reported that 18-year-old Johan Nel pleaded guilty as his trial started in Mmabatho, 150 miles north of Johannesburg. Sentencing for the Jan. 14 crime was expected this week.
The other three killed were the infant’s 31-year-old mother, a 10-year-old boy and a 35-year-old man.
