Update: Lauren Jackson’s season-high 32 points in Seattle’s 69-67 win over the Sparks on Friday made it eight straight games in which she has scored at least 20 points. The Sparks rallied from a 16-point deficit, but a steal from Storm forward Swin Cash prevented Sparks forward Tina Thompson from sending the game into overtime. The Sparks dropped to 0-5 on the road but are 2-0 at home this season. They have beaten the Storm three straight times at home, including last year’s Game 1 win in the first round of the playoffs.
