Re “No Star Turns in Obama’s Sweep,” by Tina Daunt, March 20: You’re kidding, right? Perhaps I live in a dream world, but I like to think most celebrities championed Barack Obama’s election because of what good they felt he could do for the country -- not their delicate egos.

By any comparison, they are among the fewer and fewer “haves” in what is now a “have-not” country. And it is to those millions of “have-nots” that President Obama owes all of his time, energy and visibility right now.
