Re “Will Palin make it a rogue GOP?,” Opinion, Nov. 15

The dictionary defines “rogue” as a dishonest or unprincipled person; a mischievous person, such as a child; or a misfit wild animal driven away or living apart from the herd.

Sarah Palin, in her ghostwritten book, “Going Rogue: An American Life,” has clearly defined herself. She is not fit to govern America, but perhaps she could get a job leading a herd of rogues, if that is possible.

Max Blumenthal’s Op-Ed article on former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin elicits an honest response here.

Blumenthal quotes Palin on Barack Obama: “This is a man who launched his political career in the living room of a domestic terrorist. ... This is not a man who sees America the way you and I see America.”

Frankly, if you took a poll today, you would find that we, the majority, agree with Palin’s statement as quoted without question. And we will vote to confirm this position (see Virginia and New Jersey).

Palin a regular person?

I always believed regular people to be nice, sincere, honest, industrious, hardworking, humble, selfless, self-sacrificing for family, struggling to make ends meet and possessing intelligence that notes its limitations.

We all have problems -- that doesn’t make someone a regular person.

May we please have no more updates on the (short)comings and (on)goings of Palin?

Like Anita Bryant, Phyllis Schlafly and the other mercenary, fame-seeking, family-values harpy/hypocrites who have preceded her, she will sink into the morass of ignorance to whom she appeals.

Will you not hasten this demise by ignoring her? Please!
