House is wrong for neighborhood

Re: “Bringing the outdoors in,” Sept. 6:

This “contemporary-style house” is unfortunately an overgrown monstrosity, out of context and character for the area, and poorly placed on a small street. It sticks out like an eyesore and has no continuity with the other homes in the neighborhood.

It is one thing for people to build their dream home and live there. It is another for a developer to forcibly build without consideration to the real-life variables that an owner would consider and the neighborhood could sustain.
