The iMainGo X ($69.95) is a protective case for an iPod, iPhone or most MP3 players that incorporates stereo speakers into its housing. It measures 6 inches by 4 inches by 2.5 inches.
The incorporated 3.5-mm plug also can be plugged into any device with a 3.5-millimeter connection, or use a 2.5-millimeter adapter for more versatility. Push the case’s power button, and you’ve got sound.
The speaker-case is coolest when used with a small device that can be slid into the transparent sleeve, letting you carry and play the device without opening the case.
