Vancouver, Canada: A Dec. 13 article about Vancouver and the Winter Olympics incorrectly reported that Shannon Falls, about 35 miles north of Vancouver, is the fifth-highest waterfall in the world. Various geographic references differ in how they rank the world’s waterfalls, but none place Shannon Falls, at approximately 1,100 feet, that high. In the same article, the location of the Bacchus Restaurant & Lounge at the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa was incorrectly reported as the Yaletown neighborhood on the southeastern edge of downtown. The Wedgewood is in downtown Vancouver, not in Yaletown.
