Station fire: An article in some editions of Wednesday’s Section A about the U.S. Forest Service’s failure to press the early air battle against last summer’s Station fire described U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff as a Republican. He is a Democrat.

Tanker crash: A caption that ran in Friday’s LATExtra section with photographs of a fuel tanker truck that overturned on the 134 Freeway and the traffic jam that ensued said that 4,500 gallons of diesel fuel were spilled in the accident. The fuel that spilled was gasoline.
