Coast Guard court-martial: An article in the Oct. 7 LATExtra section reported on the decision by the Coast Guard to court-martial three petty officers in connection with the death of an 8-year-old boy in the 2009 collision of their cutter with a civilian boat. The headline erred in referring to the defendants as officers; petty officers are enlisted personnel.
