Pop Music: Belle & Sebastian, Jenny & Johnny at the Hollywood Palladium

With their latest album, the most gentle of gentle indie-pop bands, Belle & Sebastian, finally comes clean about their mission since their 1996 debut, “Tigermilk.” The title of their latest? “Write About Love,” which should inspire Bruce Springsteen to release “Write About Working-Class Heroes.” For this rare Los Angeles outing, the Glaswegians will be joined by Jenny & Johnny, the duo of Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis and her boyfriend, Johnathan Rice.
