Have a blast at one of these New Year’s Eve events

Next to Times Square, there is no better place to ring in the New Year than Las Vegas.

Thousands of people travel to the city each year for “America’s Party,” the Strip’s lavish fireworks display featuring 80,000 pyrotechnic devices. Seven resorts will once again be shooting off fireworks this year: MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, The Venetian and Stratosphere. Guests can watch the eight-minute-and-18-second spectacle from the street or at one of several New Year’s Eve parties throughout town. For the best possible vantage point, head to one of the Stratosphere Tower’s three New Year’s Eve parties for spectacular panoramic views of the dazzling display (www.stratospherehotel.com). Its Tower Bash on level 108 will even be hosted by “Pin Up” star and 2011 Playboy Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair!

Guests can also party above the crowds on the world’s tallest observation wheel, the High Roller, at the Linq Promenade (www.highrollerlv.com). Private cabins as well as individual tickets are available and all rides include a special champagne toast at midnight.

Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas is another popular party spot thanks to its Downtown Countdown block party (www.vegasexperience.com), which boasts a fireworks show unlike any other on its massive Viva Vision video screen. The ticketed event includes live entertainment on three stages, with performances by tribute bands Rio (Duran Duran), No Duh (No Doubt), Fan Halen (Van Halen) and more.

Visitors can spend the final moments of 2015 with some of their favorite artists, too, as several big names will be performing New Year’s Eve concerts throughout town. Bruno Mars will be at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas (www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com); Maroon 5 will rock the Mandalay Bay Events Center (www.mandalaybay.com); Britney Spears will perform inside the Axis at Planet Hollywood (www.britneypieceofme.com); and Celine Dion will captivate ticket holders inside the Colosseum at Caesars Palace (www.thecolosseum.com).

Revelers can also dance the night — er, year — away at one of the Strip’s luxurious nightclubs. Tiësto will be spinning at Hakkasan inside MGM Grand (www.hakkasanlv.com), while Calvin Harris will be headlining the New Year’s Eve festivities inside Omnia at Caesars Palace with EDM artist Burns (www.omnianightclub.com).

With no shortage of fun ways to celebrate the start of 2016, this New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas is set to be the most memorable one yet!
