Understanding the Index of Usefulness
According to L.A. Times auto columnist, Dan Neil, the BMW X6 rates very low score on the “Usefulness Index.”
The index works like this: Rate any vehicle on a scale of one to ten (ten being most useful) in the following, no-particular-order categories: speed, handling, affordability, fuel economy, styling, cargo capacity, comfort, off-road and all-weather intrepidity, and image making.
Bentley Continental GT Speed: Low on practicality, massive on looks, style and performance.
