Photos: Condo skyscraper is being built in DTLA historic Broadway neighborhood

Construction is underway on Perla, a $300-million Los Angeles condominium complex at 400 S. Broadway being developed by SCG America, a subsidiary of Shanghai Construction Group of China. It will stand 35 stories tall and house 450 units over ground-level shops and restaurants.
