Couple’s approach to efficient design

Some homes come together in a snap. Others require a little more thought. And then, there are those that are weighed, debated ... pondered. Which was the approach a Chicago couple utilized — time and time again — while buying, renovating and furnishing a 2,400-square-foot Near North Side townhouse built in 1981.
