“Starship Troopers” actor Casper Van Dien and his wife, soap actress Catherine Oxenberg, have put their marital home in Malibu up for sale at $2.995 million.

The couple, who are in the process of divorcing, bought the house more than a decade ago for $1.6 million, records show.

Set on a bucolic acre above Broad Beach, the Mediterranean villa-style home is surrounded by gates and hedges. Koi ponds, tiered gardens and an orchard filled with various citrus fruit trees fill the palm-topped setting.

The 3,701 square feet of interiors sample from a range of styles and feature reclaimed Douglas fir flooring, Venetian plaster walls and exotic chandeliers. Walls of offbeat art line the walls of the living room, which has a fireplace. A vibrant stone backsplash and counter tops draw the eye in the kitchen.

The upstairs master suite has a fireplace and a walk-in closet for a total of five bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. French doors off each room open to a separate garden area.

Outdoors, a large fountain/koi pond acts as a centerpiece for a wide flagstone patio. Elsewhere is a kidney-shaped swimming pool.

Nanette Marchand of Rodeo Realty and Alexander Mayer of Engel & Volkers Westlake are the co-listing agents.

Van Dien, 47, reprised his role as Johnny Rico in “Starship Troopers 3: Marauder” and also appeared in such films as “Tarzan and the Lost City” (1998) and “Sleepy Hollow” (1999). Last year, he appeared on the Web series “Con Man.”
