Actor Lyle Waggoner finds an oceanfront spot in Oxnard’s Mandalay Beach

Actor and sculptor Lyle Waggoner, who spent eight years on “The Carol Burnett Show,” has bought an oceanfront home in the Mandalay Beach area of Oxnard for $3.925 million.

The three-story house, built last year, has a contemporary yet casual vibe with light wood floors, paneled wall fireplaces and vaulted ceilings throughout. Bi-folding glass doors in the living room bring in views of the beachfront, the ocean and, on a clear day, a few of the Channel Islands.

Open living and dining rooms, a family room, a game room, five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms lie within 4,750 square feet of space. A chef’s kitchen sits above the living room and has a long center island and dark wood cabinets.

There’s also an elevator and a six-car garage.

The house came up for sale a year ago for $4.495 million and was more recently priced at $4.395 million, records show.

Gary Cuoco of RE/MAX Gold Coast Realty represented both the buyer and the seller in the deal.

Waggoner, 81, has television credits that include “Wonder Woman,” “Fantasy Island” and “The Love Boat.” He is also the founder of Star Waggons, the Sylmar-based company that leases custom trailers and motor homes to movie studios and TV production companies.
