Steve Aoki, electro house DJ, producer and founder of Dim Mak Records, has sold his contemporary home in Hollywood Hills West for $1.095 million.

The eclectic contemporary, built in 1990, opens to a living room with 20-foot ceilings and skylights. A fireplace with an exposed flue brings an industrial vibe to the interiors.

A high-ceilinged recording studio, with an insulated voice room and a chandelier, is among other rooms in the 2,480 square feet of living space. The updated kitchen has stainless-steel appliances. There are five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Patios and gardens extend the living space outdoors.

Aoki, 36, was nominated last year for a Grammy Award in the dance album category for “Wonderland,” which is also the name of his old street. He recently released the first part of a two-album series titled “Neon Future.”

The musician, who has collaborated with the likes of Iggy Azalea and Lil Jon, bought the property in 2008 for $1.075 million, public records show.

Josh Flagg of Rodeo Realty was the listing agent. Todd Weaver of Synergy Commercial Real Estate represented the buyer.
