The U.S. justice department today filed suit against Ticketmaster’s parent company, Live Nation. The government wants to break up the company over allegations that it’s an illegal monopoly in live entertainment. It’s not the first time Ticketmaster has come under fire recently – concert-goers are fed up with high fees tacked onto ticket prices.

These so-called junk fees are also added to hotel bookings and restaurant bills.

But some new rules will try to put an end to junk fees at thousands of California businesses.
