Hollywood Headlines: a crazy week in review

Beating up women -- check. Beating up pop star women -- check. Doing well in probation -- check! Chris Brown is getting gold stars from the judge for completing the terms attached to his five-year probation -- the one he received after pleading guilty to felony assault of his lady friend Rihanna in June ’09. So who’s the real Material Girl? Madonna, who’s been singing about it since the ‘80s only launched her “Material Girl” clothing line this month. But according to a new lawsuit, L.A. Triumph Inc. has been selling a line of clothing under the same name since 1997 -- and that’s why they’ve thought the best thing to do now is sue. What’s a material girl to do? If it’s true that John Lennon could excrete more good ideas in one sitting than most of us will ever have in our entire lives, then this deal is priceless: His toilet is up for auction. We’re all quite flush with excitement over what’s one of the more unusual items ever auctioned off at the 33rd Annual Beatle Week Festival in Liverpool. But then again, when they’ve been doing this for 33 years, maybe all that’s left to auction off is a Beatle bathroom. Don’t make Taylor mad. You won’t like him if he’s angry, and McMahon’s RV is finding that out the hard way. Taylor’s suing it for breach of contract and fraud for allegedly not delivering a $300k custom vehicle on time. So what happened exactly when the trailer didn’t show? Taylor stamped his feet and cried big time. How do we know that? Well, we can only assume he did judging by the fact his lawsuit cites “displeasure, annoyance and emotional distress.” Waaaaaaah. Tiger and Elin have finally untied the knot, and the estranged ex-Mrs. Woods gave an exclusive to People magazine, admitting she’s “been through hell.” Hours after the story hit the interwebs, Tiger chimed in and said he wished her the best in everything. If only he’d wished her a great marriage to him…Oh wait. He probably did, way back in the original vows. So much for Tiger’s wishes, huh? Click for more of Elin’s wise words. It was a real hair-raising experience -- and not a magic trick in sight. Penn Jillette cut off 10 inches worth of his pretty locks recently, and all for a great cause; the Locks of Love Cut-A-Thon, a charity event that helps kids who’ve lost their hair due to medical treatment. Teller, the quiet one, assisted with the cutting while Penn’s wife Emily helped Twitter everyone about it. David Copperfield? You’re next. “Sons of Anarchy” actor Mark Boone Jr. fought the law -- and the law won. Arrested for not wearing a seat belt and talking on a cellphone (yes, BOTH at once -- and if that’s not anarchy in this day and age, we don’t know what is!), Mark’s traffic stop then escalated into an arrest on suspicion of resisting arrest and battery on a police officer. OK. Truly anarchic. Boone Jr. plays a biker gang member on “Sons,” so he may have just gotten carried away -- the “method acting” to his madness. Click for more.
