Christie Brinkley seems to be defying the laws of aging and broadcasting it as she gears up for her 60th -- yes, 60th -- birthday on Sunday.

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model flaunts what she’s got on the latest cover of People, posing in a teal swimsuit for the mag. “Christie at 60! All her stay-young secrets” the headline reads, and the va-va-voom factor she brings to the glossy surely does the mag a few favors.

“I never would would have imagined this is how I would be celebrating my 60th ... But Thank you PEOPLE Magazine for hopefully sending the message that with proper diet , exercise ,and joie de vi[vr]e, every Birthday is cause for Celebration!” Brinkley wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of the cover.

“I feel on top of my game,” the mother of three told People, despite saying she wouldn’t pose in a bikini.
“My kids would be so embarrassed! In private I may wear a bikini, but at the public beach with my kids I would change bathing suits because they do not want to be hanging out with some old broad in a bikini.”

The seemingly ageless celebrity’s landmark birthday also brought up the age-old question of whether she would get plastic surgery.

“I would never say never. I used to say never,” the Hair2wear businesswoman told “Entertainment Tonight’s” Nancy O’Dell, saying that she has tried Botox.

Brinkley has been married four times, notably to architect Peter Cook and singer Billy Joel.

“I really enjoy being single for literally the first time in my life,” she told O’Dell, who asked if she would be willing to find love again.
