Kevin Smith -- that bearded director often seen in his signature hockey jersey -- is no longer bearded. Fear not, he's still a director and he's still wearing that jersey.

The "Clerks" star went under the blade, debuting his freshly shaved face on Facebook on Monday -- a sight people haven't seen in years.

The "Red State" filmmaker teased to the forthcoming sheering on Sunday when he posted his fully bearded and mustachioed selfie.

"This is my magic beard. Enjoy it now: tomorrow, I am going to shave it off for #YogaHosers !" the hirsute 44-year-old wrote.

As promised, Smith nicked the decades-old beard and mustache and shared a snapshot of the new look.

"Look at this goofy spaz. This is me, beardless, for the #YogaHosers green screen shoot. It's a Face-Brazilian!" he quipped.

Save for the jersey, the beardless star is nearly unrecognizable in the new shots, partially due to his dramatic weight loss. Last week, Smith said that he lost 20 pounds by dropping added and processed sugars. In 2011, the "Mallrats" director revealed that he dropped an initial 65 pounds after a spate of embarrassing incidents.

"Yoga Hosers," the culprit behind Smith's face balding, is the second installment of the director's Canadian-themed "True North" trilogy, which premiered in September with "Tusk." Smith wrote and directed the flick but so far isn't slated to appear in front of the camera.

The indie comedy stars Smith's teenage daughter, Harley Quinn Smith; Johnny Depp and his teenage daughter, Lily-Rose Melody Depp; Haley Joel Osment; Tyler Posey; Tony Hale; Natasha Lyonne; Adam Brody; Stan Lee; Justin Long; and Smith's sidekick, Jason Mewes.

Here's the official synopsis: "Two teenage yoga enthusiasts team up with a legendary man-hunter to battle with an ancient evil presence that is threatening their major party plans."

"Yoga Hosers" hits theaters in June. Smith's beard will likely grow back much sooner.
