Hollywood’s hottest Halloween costumes

Time to think about pumpkins, waistlines, and costumes! Each Halloween, it’s a blast predicting which pop culture icons will show up trick-or- treating at the front door, or drinking some potent “witches brew” at a friend’s party. This year we consulted friends, colleagues and costume shop owners to bring you the 411 on which characters will be among the most popular this year. (Characters are arranged in no particular order). Transformers Expect to see a parade of little boys on your doorstep holding those plastic pumpkins behind an Optimus Prime mask. At Hollywood Toys & Costumes, a kid’s deluxe Transformers get-up costs $39.99 for a body suit with an ink print design, a half-cover plastic helmet, a breast plate, and a muffler for the arm.
