Inside ‘Grey Gardens’

Grey Gardens, 1936.
The new HBO film “Grey Gardens” revisits and expands upon the story of Big Edie and Little Edie Bouvier Beale detailed in the 1975 documentary of the same title. The mother and daugther, relations of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, were once glamorous socialites but by the 1970s were living in squalor at their East Hampton estate that gives the films their names. (Peter Stranks)
