Federal social distancing guidelines extended to April 30

At a briefing held at the Rose Garden, President Trump announced that federal social distancing guidelines would be extended to April 30 to “slow the spread” of the coronavirus. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the government’s top infectious-disease specialist, warned: “We shouldn’t take solace when we see low levels in different states, different cities, different areas, because they are very vulnerable to an explosion.”
