From shabby to retro chic

It wasn't long ago that this 1908 specimen at 212 S. Wilton Place -- a minute portion of Los Angeles between 1st and 3rd streets that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places -- was a run-down house of horrors. After a makeover, though, it takes its place on Saturday's home tour sponsored by the Windsor Square- Hancock Park Historical Society.
