Jewel Kilcher and Ty Murray sell Hollywood Hills house for $1.4 million

Update: Singer-songwriter JewelKilcher and her husband, rodeo champion Ty Murray, have sold their Hollywood Hills house for $1.4 million.

The Spanish-style home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms in 1,781 square feet with canyon and city views. A third bedroom in the restored 1938 home had been converted to a master closet. There is an updated kitchen, a brick patio, an office and an attached three-car garage. The house had come on the market in October at $1.75 million.

The Grammy-nominated Jewel, 34, who has sold millions of albums worldwide, just released her first independent album, “Lullaby,” this week. Murray, 39, has been tearing it up on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” performing an Argentine tango on Monday with “So You Think You Can Dance” alumni Chelsie Hightower.

Kilcher and Murray make their home in Stephenville, Texas, where they own a 2,200-acre ranch, according to her publicist.

Jordan Cohen of ReMax Olson & Associates, Westlake Village, had the listing, and Jackie Winter of Sotheby’s International Realty, Los Feliz, represented the buyer, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
