Winners:

If there's one sure fire hit this summer, it's definitely "Pirates of the Caribbean." I think it will easily be the top box office draw for the summer and who knows, maybe even the year as a whole.

Losers:

I'm calling May the trifecta of trifectas' because we've got three third sequels going head to head to head. "Pirates" and "Spiderman 3" should be fine, but I have a feeling that "Shrek 3" won't be breaking any records like it's predecessors.

Surprises:

I'm going to put my money on "License To Wed" and "1408" as the summer sleeper hits. The first is a romantic comedy starring Mandy Moore, John Krasinksi and Robin Williams; a great mix of adorable and hilarious. The latter is a Stephen King adaptation starring John Cusack, and I think once the trailer hits the airwaves it's going to start to get more buzz.
