Pieces from the Gardena High School art collection are on exhibit at the Autry Center.
The collection contains works by notable California artists from the early 20th century, including Edgar Payne (1883-1947). Though best known for his depictions of the High Sierra, he also painted oceanscapes, such as “Rockbound,” above, circa 1918.
