Cooler weather, breezy conditions and some rain expected in L.A.
A low-pressure system is expected to bring cooler temperatures, breezy conditions and some rain to Southern California on Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.
Light showers are expected across the region by Wednesday morning.
The San Gabriel Mountains could receive up to a half-inch of rain, according to the Weather Service. Most areas, however, will receive less than a tenth of an inch of rain.
The system will result in unseasonably cold weather that could drop snow levels to between 5,000 and 6,000 feet. South to southwest wind gusts could hit 50 mph, the agency said.
Temperatures will be 10 degrees to 20 degrees below normal. Highs will be in the mid-60s for coastal areas and in 50s, 60s and 40s in the mountains.
