Authorities have arrested a man who they say set fire to a Southern California Planned Parenthood center.
But they say the motive was a domestic feud, not politics.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Alvaro Perez of Oxnard was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of arson and remains jailed.

Investigators say he threw a flammable liquid through the window of a Planned Parenthood office in Thousand Oaks on Sept. 30. The office sustained little fire damage but its sprinkler system caused water damage.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Dean Worthy says Perez had an ongoing feud with his ex-girlfriend who worked at the office. No one was in the building at the time of the fire.
Perez already was jailed for a series of other criminal accusations, including domestic spousal battery.
