Storm damage halts trains on part of Metrolink’s Riverside line
The weekend rainstorm has provided one more problem for Southern California commuters: Metrolink announced late Sunday that one its lines will be closed Monday morning because of weather-related damage to tracks.
Trains will not be running between the downtown Riverside station and the Pedley station, according to a statement from Metrolink.
Though buses will be available to shuttle passengers between the two stations, Metrolink said passengers would be better off starting their trips at the Pedley station or using the San Bernardino Line.
Additional updates may be found on Metrolink’s Twitter account, @Metrolink, or on the agency’s Facebook page.
