Charles Oakley was the No. 9 pick in the 1985 draft by the Cavaliers, but his draft rights were traded to the Bulls. He was with the team until 1988, when he was traded to the Knicks. Oakley later rejoined the Bulls in 2001 and played 57 games.
At the Berto Center, Charles Oakley joined Bulls owner Jerry Krause, commenting that he has rejoined the Bulls on July 19, 2001.
