South Florida reacts to Castro’s death
Miguel Cuenca, 53, owner of the Hollywood store Cuenca Cigars, Inc. didn’t see any reasons to celebrate. “I would be happy if they had hung him on a tree or had judged him,” he said while smoking an Arturo Fuente Don Carlos cigar. “But he died happy in the comfort of his family. He has never paid for his crimes.” He left Cuba in 2001, and vowed never to return until things change in his home country. After hearing the news Friday night, he stayed up discussing the future of Cuba with about 15 other people until 3 a.m. “I would be happy if he had been judged,” he said.
